1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of MenuWright (the “Service”), operated by Axiomancer Labs LLC, a California limited liability company (“MenuWright,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the restaurant or business you represent.
2. The Service
MenuWright provides AI-powered menu engineering: it ingests your menu, food costs, and point-of-sale sales data (via Square or file upload), classifies menu items by profitability and popularity, and generates prioritized recommendations with projected dollar impact. Projections are estimates based on your historical data and are not a guarantee of future results.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- The Free plan includes 1 menu analysis and 3 AI recommendations per calendar month.
- The Pro plan ($99/month) includes 4 analyses and 20 recommendations per month. Beyond the included quota, each additional analysis run is billed at $10, and once the recommendation quota is reached, each subsequent analysis run that delivers recommendations is billed at a flat $5 per recommendation set. Usage is metered and billed through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Overages and subscription fees are charged to the payment method on file via Stripe. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected at checkout.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse or attempt to circumvent usage limits; upload unlawful or infringing content; interfere with the security or integrity of the Service; resell the Service without written consent; or use the Service in violation of applicable law. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you submit (menu items, costs, sales records). You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in the
Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third parties such as Square (POS data), Stripe (payments), and AI model providers (recommendation generation). Your use of such services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated recommendations are decision support, not professional financial advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Exclusive venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
